Students should be able to rig and sail a short course on their own. Sailing with our Club is advantageous.

It is expected that students will have a Stage 2 certificate which they should bring with their Logbook.

Our Stage 3 course is run over 3 days, day 1 being a refresher of Stages 1 and 2. New skills and refinements to the basic skills are taugh on the second and third days 

On completion students should be able to rig and sail on their own where required in a breeze.

Successful candidates will be awarded a RYA Stage 3 Certificate and may continue their sailing at our Club
